Simply put, we are ‘a specialist hearing aid centre’ that has the experience, empathy and understanding to handle the most complex of hearing losses.

In addition to new hearing aid enquiries, we are also receiving an ever increasing amount of clients who are not happy with the care they are receiving from their ‘retail provider’.

In these cases, we review the clients hearing and existing hearing aid settings; many are then surprised just how much of a difference we can make to their listening lifestyle. The client below had bought Widex hearing aids from another local provider a couple of years ago.

It is also really easy to take advantage of re-chargeable lithium batteries that last several years and help to take away the nuisance of regular battery changing. Easy to use Bluetooth make it possible for those who haven’t grown up with digital technology to connect seamlessly to smartphones and iPads/tablets for a better more inclusive listening experience.

More and more of our clients are now feeling completely at ease with their new super light, natural sounding hearing aids and don’t even notice they are wearing them.

Hearing aid styles

• CIC – completely-in-the-canal, almost invisible and sits deep in the ear.

• ITC – in-the-canal, marginally bigger than CIC.

• ITE – in-the-ear, all technology sits in the ear canal.

• RIC – receiver-in-the-canal, two piece design. Highly advanced technology sits inside and invisibly behind the ear.

• BTE – behind-the-ear, the hearing aid sits behind the ear and is connected to an ear mould via a plastic tube.
